LaxTube online video library
28/4/08

My name is Pete Martin. I played in AU for the Wanerro Chiefs in 2004 (WA). I now run a company called LaxTube.com which seeks to promote growth in our sport by showing quality game film from around the world.

I had such an amazing experience playing lacrosse in Australia that I wanted to take this opportunity to give back and offer to post any video from any of the leagues and at any age on our site.

Rosters for the U-17s can be included which would allow them to be recruited by the American College Coaches that use our site.

Please respond to me direct and let me know if you can send anything to us.

Coaching opportunities sought in Australia
28/4/08

I'm currently in my second year of study of Coach Education and Sports Development at the University of Bath, England. Between June 2008 and September 2009 I have the opportunity to spend time on placement. I am keen to try and spend some of this time in Australia and coaching lacrosse.

I am currently building my portfolio for the ELA Level 2 Coaching Award, and have experience coaching with beginners and moderate players with my univeristy team.

Would it be possible to have some information on any coaching opportunities that may be available (primarily with children), opportunities for playing, and also a bit of information on lacrosse in Australia.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
(Please contact Will Finlayson direct)

USA player looking to play in Australia
19/3/08

The following request has been received by Lacrosse Australia. Please liaise directly with this young man if your club is interested in having him join your club for the forthcoming season. You may know of another club that could use his services. If so, please draw their attention to the article.

My son Bennett is in his Senior year as a defenseman on his Highschool Boys lacrosse team, CVU, here in Hinesburg Vermont, USA. www.cvuhs.org

As a junior he was named to the First team All State Div.I as a LSM. I have attached a letter from his Strength coach, (MWord, 36KB) Brent Wilson.

He is planning to take a year off before going to college and we are interested in the opportunity for him to play lacrosse in Australia. He is 17 years of age and was born on May 26th, 1990.

Please let us know if there are opportunities for him to play in a post highschool men's league or what your suggestion would be.

Thank you for your time.
